The philosophy of Arcadia Musica is to believe that music can make our world better. All kinds of musics but especially classical music (i.e. baroque, classical, romantic, modern and contemporary music) has a very special part to play.
However some people may consider classical music as an elitist type of art because it looks too complex, too serious to them. Wouldn't there be a way to renew classical concerts and make them sound freer, more modern, more daring? Classical music may also mingle with jazz, pop, world or electronic music and combine with painting, poetry, dance, theatre, cinema, multimedia.
The final aim is to make culture, artistic excellence, Beauty, in a word, more accessible to the general public. It requires the highest quality and a spectacular dimension to get popular success. Searching for new time-space concepts for concerts, new scenographies that would create synaesthesia and realize some kind of total art would be a challenge for us.
ARCADIA MUSICA is a new classical music management agency based in Luxembourg. With our head production office situated in Barcelona (Spain), we represent 25 internationally renowned artists mainly in Spain, Portugal, France, Benelux, Switzerland but also provide worldwide management to a select few. Our roster is diverse and comprised of young exceptional musicians from all over the world (Europe, USA, Asia), educated at the finest musical institutions and have won major international prizes. Despite their youth, they have already firmly established their performance careers on the international platform and have collaborated with the great masters of our times at the finest venues and festivals throughout the world. Arcadia Musica strongly believes in this young generation of “AM-Rising Stars”, who need all the support in forming distinctive and promising musical partnerships. These young artists are the future. Arcadia Musica also represents two dynamic chamber orchestras: the Southbank Sinfonia (London) led by Simon Over and Vladimir Ashkenazy and Dissonances (Paris), conducted by David Grimal; AM also represents especially for Spain a few renowned names such as Alexey Botvinov (+France), Xavier Phillips, Sasha Rozdestvensky, Vahan Mardirossian, Marie-Josèphe Jude... who can also support and join this concert series. Together, AM-Artists form a powerful team.
