Without music, life would be an error. Friedrich Nietzsche
The philosophy of Arcadia Musica is to believe that music can make our world better. All kinds of musics but especially classical music (i.e. baroque, classical, romantic, modern and contemporary music) has a very special part to play.
However some people may consider classical music as an elitist type of art because it looks too complex, too serious to them. Wouldn't there be a way to renew classical concerts and make them sound freer, more modern, more daring? Classical music may also mingle with jazz, pop, world or electronic music and combine with painting, poetry, dance, theatre, cinema, multimedia.
The final aim is to make culture, artistic excellence, Beauty, in a word, more accessible to the general public. It requires the highest quality and a spectacular dimension to get popular success. Searching for new time-space concepts for concerts, new scenographies that would create synaesthesia and realize some kind of total art would be a challenge for us.
ARCADIA MUSICA is a new classical music management agency based in Luxembourg since 2007. Our head production office is situated in Sitges near Barcelona (Spain). Our quality is to try to have a modern, passionate, organized, active, creative approach of classical music world. We represent 25 internationally renowned artists mainly in Spain, Portugal, France, Benelux, Switzerland but also provide european or worldwide management to a select few. Our roster is diverse and comprised of young exceptional musicians from all over the world (Europe, USA, Asia), educated at the finest musical institutions and have won major international prizes. Despite their youth, they have already firmly established their performance careers on the international platform and have collaborated with the great masters of our times (such as Rostropovich, Martha Argerich, Nelson Freire, Misha Maisky, Yuri Bashmet, Dmitri Bashkirov, Fou T'Song...) at the finest venues and festivals throughout the world.
Arcadia Musica strongly believes in the young generation of musiciens, who need all the support in forming distinctive and promising musical partnerships. These young artists are very promising: Nicolas Altstaedt, Alessio Bax, Lucille Chung, Stéphanie-Marie Degand, Jakob Koranyi, Denis Kozhukhin, Vestard Shimkus, Alexandra Soumm, Aviv String Quartet, Trio Arcadia... AM also represents especially for Spain and Portugal a few renowned names such as Laurent Campellone, Marie-Josèphe Jude, Xavier Phillips, Roberto Prosseda, Sasha Rozdestvensky... AM also represents one very dynamic chamber orchestra: the Dissonances (Paris) created by David Grimal.
Together, AM-Artists form a creative, unified and powerful team. Please do not hesitate to consult our artist roster and contact us. Let us share beautiful projects!

"...a stunningly beautiful and sympathetic performance from the pianist Roberto Prosseda. The London Philharmonic was conducted by its new principal guest maestro, Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Prosseda is a superb performer and has made the piece entirely his musically as well as contractually. After this, and his appropriate encore of the F sharp minor Song Without Words (also a Gondola number), I would very much like to hear him again." Jessica Duchen

"Bufalini has created a very attractive work, full of the bravura and brilliance that one expects of a 19th-century romantic piano concerto, with lots of familiar question-and-answer rhetoric between soloist and orchestra and bundles of finger-bending virtuosity.[...] They [Mendelssohn's Piano Concertos] are pleasant and elegantly crafted, with plenty of dazzling display and thrilling passagework, and this ‘new’ concerto is very much in the same vein, played here with conviction and panache by Roberto Prosseda. At the end of the first movement, there is a suggestion of that characteristic Mendelssohnian febrile nervousness, and the Andante is truly enchanting... " Peter Reed
